What are the investment options available with ACS?
ACS offers flexible investment structures designed to meet the needs of accredited investors. Below, we outline the available investment paths to help you choose the structure that best aligns with your financial goals.
Investing as an Individual
The investment is made using your personal legal name and held directly by you.
You must meet the qualifications as an accredited investor.
A personalized tax document (Schedule K-1) will be provided for your tax reporting purposes.
Investing as a Business Entity
The investment is registered under a business entity, such as an LLC, S-Corporation, or C-Corporation, which may provide additional legal separation and organizational benefits.
If the entity has multiple stakeholders, each stakeholder must meet the accredited investor requirements.
If any stakeholder wishes to invest individually, they must create their own account.
A Schedule K-1 will be issued in the entity’s name for tax purposes.
Investing via a Trust
Investments can be made through a trust.
The grantor(s) of the trust must meet the accredited investor criteria individually or jointly with their spouse.
A Schedule K-1 will be issued in the trust’s name for tax purposes.
Investing as a Fund
Accredited investor groups or registered funds can participate in ACS projects by holding ownership stakes in specific deals.
All fund participants must qualify as accredited investors.
Distributions from the project are made to the fund, which is responsible for distributing proceeds to its individual members.
A Schedule K-1 will be issued in the fund’s name for reporting purposes.
